R1BW!

Hey guys! I managed to get the opportunity to go to Radio 1's Big Weekend on Saturday & Sunday. This was such a great experience. I love festivals & as this was all for free, it was amazing. There were artists there for everyone's taste of music. I managed to get tickets for me & a few friends to go, and loads of my other friends got tickets as well, so it really was a great weekend.

When I found out that Big Weekend was coming to Norwich, I was so excited and knew I had to get tickets! The highlights of the weekend were definitely seeing Years & Years, James Bay & George Ezra. These are three of my favourite artists and to see them all for free was such a pleasure! I also managed to see many other amazing artists like Taylor Swift, Hozier, Imagine Dragons, Clean Bandit & many more.

The atmosphere was insane, drinking in the sun, listening to live music, what more could you want. It was a shame that on the Sunday there were a few heavy showers but it didn't ruin it at all, as it's all part of the experience. My advice for festivals would be to only take what you need, you don't want to be carrying around bags in crowds. Make sure you bring enough money, as you're not allowed to bring your own food or drink into any festival, you will have to buy it there and the prices are quite high and have an amazing time, you're never going to see these people again so just enjoy it, who cares what you look like!

This was just a quick post, but after the weekend, I've been so busy working and revising for my exams that I don't have much time to post at the moment. But now that I've finished school I'll be able to post a lot more and buy a lot more products to post about(:

Naked 3 palette review.

This was my first ever eyeshadow palette, and it's still my favourite now. Urban Decay's naked 3 palette costs £38 and it's so worth it. I had the hardest decision choosing between the 3 naked palettes but as soon as I saw the gorgeous rose gold colours in this palette I knew it was the one for me.

I find the shades in this palette are insanely beautiful and none of them were to be seen in any of the other palettes. This palette goes from a really pale, highlighting pink to a dark black with red glitter, they are all beautiful colours. As I prefer my makeup to look more subtle these neutral shades are perfect for me. All the colours blend so well together when applying, this palette is an artists dream.
The colours range from smooth mattes, pretty pearls and glittery metallics. This palettes includes a double ended professional quality shadow and blending brush, so that applying these beautiful colours can be made easier. I find all these colours in this palette are so pigmented, and will stay on for ages.
The rose gold tin inspires to what's inside, with all the pretty pinky shades. They all work so lovely together, being able to create so many natural yet stunning looks. Even from the photograph you're able to tell apart the mattes and metallic colours, and they look even more beautiful when applied to your eyelid.
Then applying the darker shades to create a more striking look, which contrast with the pearly pinks beautifully. I will definitely be one of the girls who collects all 3 of these palettes, as I'm so happy with this one, it's like the gift that keeps on giving. With 12 gorgeous shades you can create so many different styles for different occasions.

Now all I've got to decide is, which one to buy next?

Latest Ted Baker purchase.

When I found out Ted Baker had 20% off I got so excited. I was able to buy the clutch I wanted for my leavers ball and this beautiful travel bag. It's original price is £169. It's made of quality materials and it's a beautiful print. This came in three different prints, a pale peony print, a bright florally print & this tropical print.

When I first saw this item in the shop I thought it was just beautiful. I knew I would purchase it one day, and that day has come! It's a lot bigger than I remember so I'm overly happy with this buy. I thought this travel bag would be ideal when I go clubbing and staying in a hotel, a weekend away or even just going over to a friends. I thought this tropical print is really summery and different, plus I thought it wouldn't get dirty as quickly as the other colours.

I love Ted Baker's little touches on all of his products. It comes with a little travel card holder, with a card name label and 'T' on all its details. I love the crosshatch effect on the card holder and the handles of this bag, in a patent black.

Even the zips are gorgeous. This bag comes with an extendable arm, so you're able to roll the bag on its wheels. This is handy when it comes to travelling and the bag is really heavy, so you're able to travel in style. It's got a roomy front pocket so you don't need to keep rummage through the whole bag to find your phone, lipstick, etc... This bag just makes travelling around easier.

I have tried to capture all of this beautiful bag's features in these images, it really was a stunning buy. I would recommend this product to anyone who goes away quite a bit for short periods of time and they'd like a lovely bag to accompany them.

This was just a quick post, to share my love for this bag with you. Hope you all enjoyed the Ted Baker offer as much as I did!

Fashion favourites.

Follow me on blog lovin'
Here are some of my favourite pieces that I own at the moment, I'm not sure which of these are still available to buy, but I'll post links to those which I can find.

As summer is almost here, and it's getting hotter and hotter each day, this kimono is perfect. It's a lightweight, silky material which is perfect to just throw on when it's extremely hot. I purchased this a couple of years from Topshop £55. I do not regret it one bit, I normally wear this in the evenings at festivals or when just chilling by our tents. It's lovely & floaty and look gorgeous on. I absolutely loved the print of this kimono, and it has birds on the back of it. This can also be dressed up when going out for a meal or just to the pub in the summer.

I never leave the house without wearing my Marc Jacobs watch £165. I got this as my 18th birthday present in January & it hasn't really left my wrist since. I'm quite fussy when it comes to jewellery, but I really like the simplicity of this watch, with just a classic leather strap. As I've got tiny wrists, some watch faces are too big and look ridiculous, but this is just the perfect size for me.

I wasn't sure whether to treat myself to this silk blouse from Topshop at first because I thought it was quite expensive at £58. But I gave in, and it is even more gorgeous then I thought. This is great to be worn with just a plain black skirt when going out for a meal. The colours are stunning, and the material looks find if it gets creased.

I much prefer playsuits to dresses, because I always find dresses quite short as I have long legs in comparison to my body. But this velvet & lace playsuit is beautiful, £65 from Topshop, I bought this to wear for my birthday meal and I am still in love with it. This has cut out bits at the side which really compliments your figure. It has a low v-cut back which makes it look really elegant.

I bought these gorgeous pair of heels for £82, but are now in the sale for £40 in Topshop! Boy, did my heart sink when I found out, but luckily were already sold out in my size otherwise I would've been gutted. Suede is one of my favourite materials, I just think it's gorgeous. I've read reviews that the metal plate on the heels of these boots have fallen off, but mine have been fine and they're surprisingly very comfortable.

This was one of those buys which I couldn't decide on the colour I wanted to buy, so I decided to buy four different colours. This cami crop top from Topshop was £6 or 2 for £10. I also bought this is in black, white and yellow. This is a lovely mint colour, which I am absolutely obsessed with at the moment! I do find some ribbed clothes aren't always fitted and lose their shape, but these tops are a lovely material & are so cheap! I always have trouble with vest tops as of my short body, I always need to shorten the strap on all of them. But these are really good to just throw on, and will go with everything.

Fur coats are just stunning. This was £169 from Jack Wills. It's perfect to wear out to formal evenings with black jeans & heels or a midi dress. It's sad to say I haven't got much wear out of this, even though it's beautiful. I just don't go to many formal occasions but hopefully in the future it'll get more wear as a fur coat never goes out of fashion. The colour of this coat is gorgeous and it's so soft, and it's a coat of high quality.

My brother got me this stardust Swarovski bracelet for Christmas £49. My brother means the absolute world to me. This bracelet is truly amazing, when the crystals catch the light it looks so pretty. Hundreds of Swarovski crystals inside a fishnet tube with a magnet clasp. There are many different colour which this bracelet comes in, and you can also buy double bracelets and necklaces in the same style.

I'm loving this draped front look at the moment, it's so complimentary. This playsuit was £50 from Topshop. It's a lovely nude colour. I wear this when I'm going clubbing or just out for a meal. It's made of a really good quality material and is fitted, which I love. The pleats in this playsuit really show off your figure. It's a lot paler than the image on the internet but it is a great buy.

As you know, I love suede, so I couldn't say no to this suede clutch bag from Asos £25. It's a really good size so I'm able to fit my purse and all my other bits in when I go clubbing. I managed to get the last one of these in stock, I was so happy. I love the style and shape of this bag.

I absolutely love this duster coat from Topshop £79. I looks so much better on than on the hanger. It's quite thin, but it makes it hang really nicely once it's on. It does tend to be quite over sized, so I went for a size smaller than usual. The only downside of this coat is that it creases really easily, but it's so lovely to even care.

I live & die in these shoes. I wear them everyday & they're so comfy. They were £28 from Topshop. I love the velvet and silk ribbon contrast. Normally I find loafers really uncomfortable but this pair are so soft to wear and the back of the heel isn't so harsh on the foot. I have trouble with all my shoes, because my feet are so awkward I get blisters from every pair, expect these! They are starting to lose their shape a little and the heel is a little worn, but I have had a lot of wear out of them, and still loads to come.

I recently got this playsuit from Topshop £28. I haven't worn it yet but it was so cheap for the quality of it. It's only a jersey material but it looks really good on. I think overlay dresses and playsuits look so lovely in the summer and are surprisingly cool.

Sorry again about the poor quality images, they were quickly taken on my phone as I've lost the memory card to my camera. Thanks for reading.

Beauty wishlist

We all have beauty products which we want to try out but just cannot simply afford them all. I thought I'd share my wish list with you, including all the products I want to buy in the future.

First is this Marc Jacobs high shine nail lacquer, in the colour 'Funny Girl'. This about £11.50/$18. I love the colour of this nail lacquer, but not only that, isn't the bottle just adorable. I know it's not about the packaging, but I've seen so many images of nails painted with this nail lacquer on Instagram, and it just looks gorgeous! Nude nails are the best nails.
Now this product is just a must have! It the Yves Saint Laurent touché Ã©clat blur perfector. This is £31.50. You can apply it before foundation or during the day as a touch up. I've tried this product on in Debenhams, and it is lovely. So worth the money, it makes your skin feel so soft and blurs out any imperfections. Not only that the casing is beautiful, you need this in your handbag.
I love makeup brushes, I could spend so much money on them. This classic face set is by Zoeva, it's £60 and comes with a little bag to put them in. As I want to try experimenting with my makeup more, I think this set it perfect. One of my friends owns some Zoeva brushes, and she said they're amazing, so I can't wait to try them.
I've always wanted to try Daniel Sandler's invisible blotting powder £19.50, ever since I've heard about it. This is a lightweight powder to set your makeup and to mattify the skin. As this powder has no colour, it doesn't change the tone of your foundation, it just reduces shine.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour kit is next on my to buy list £39. I've always wanted to try contouring, and I've heard all good things about this palette and watches loads of youtube tutorials of how to use it. It comes in three different shades to best match your skin tone. I'm not sure how good I'll be at contouring or whether it'll suit me but it's worth a try.

Chanel les beiges healthy glow sheer powder £39. I really want this powder to go with my Chanel foundation because I think they really compliment each other. As I'm getting my makeup done in Chanel for my leavers ball, I'm going to ask to use this product so I can see what it's like and how it feels on my skin before I buy it.
Dior, diorskin star foundation £32.50, there are so many foundations I want to try and this one is one my list. I've heard this foundation really brightens your skin and gives you an instant glow. But as you can't always go by reviews as everyone has different skin, so I'll ask to try it on before I buy which I always do before purchasing a foundation.

And finally Bobbi Brown's corrector £19, I always manage to get a bit of mascara or eyeliner out of place, so this would be perfect to go around my eyes just to finish up my makeup. It's also meant to be very good for covering up tired looking eyes, which I also suffer from.

If you have any reviews about any of these products, please feel free to post your honest opinion as it would be very helpful.

Sunnies out ☀

Summer is my favourite time of year. Everyone's so much happier, waking up to the sun. I love having a tan, and I get so brown, it's great. But my hardest decision each morning is what sunglasses to wear.. I have a slight obsession with buying sunglasses, I don't know what it is, I just like to have the choice between them all.

These were my latest addition to my collection. They're £16 from Topshop. I almost always buy my sunglasses from Topshop because I'm able to try them on before buying them. I have quite small features on my face, so some sunglasses look ridiculous on me. But I really like the cat eye glasses at the moment, I think they really compliment my head shape. My excuse to buy these was because I don't have just a plain black pair, so of course I needed some.

Again, this pair were from Topshop, I got these last year. They were £16, I thought they were great for festivals, as they're really chunky. Tortoise shell goes with everything. As these are really bold, they make a statement to my outfit. The shape and fit of these glasses are amazing, they're really comfortable to wear.
These glasses were £14 from Topshop. I really like the shape of them, and the round lens is really good for me, as of my small features. But the frame gives them more of a shape which I really like.

These have to be my favourite pair of sunglasses! Just the colour of them, they're from Asos, £35, I was a bit unsure about these at first, because they're so big and chunky. But they actually look really good for summer, especially the festivals I've got coming up. I can't wait to wear them.

I bought these sunglasses to go to my first ever festival, latitude 2013, and it's been the best one so far! It sounds stupid but they actually have a lot of memories from that year. They were £14 from Topshop. I now wouldn't go for this shape when looking for sunglasses, but the frame of this pair is so pretty! It's floral and glittery.
& of course, everyone needs a round pair! Topshop £16.

Latest buys.

I went shopping today, & spent way more than I should've. But I just couldn't resist. You'll have to excuse the bad photographs, they were taken in very bad lighting & the clothes are all creased. I will link all of the products I can find online below, incase everyone wants to buy them.

First I went into boots & bought this beautiful flat contour brush by Real Techniques, £22. This is my second brush from the bold metals collection, I also have the pointed crease brush & it is lovely to use. The bristles on this brush are so soft! I bought this because I'm wanting to buy the Anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour palette when I next get paid. I'd had my eye on this brush for a while, so it was just an excuse to buy it. The handle of these brushes are so comfortable to hold, & make putting on makeup easier.

Then for the blending of the contouring, I bought this miracle complexion sponge by Real techniques, £5.99. The flat edge is to blend the contours around the eyes & nose. The tip is to cover blemishes and imperfections and the sides are to blend areas of the face. I haven't used this product yet, so I'm sure how good it works, but I've read really good reviews on it.

I also bought this expert brush by Real Techniques, as they had a offer on at the time, £9.99. This brush is used to create a flawless base on your skin. This brush helps to apply liquid or cream foundation & gives you the perfect coverage which you want, giving you great results.

I got these earrings £5 and bracelet £6.50 from Topshop for my leavers ball coming up. As my heels are black & gold I thought these would go perfectly. As I don't want to pull the attention away from my dress, I thought these would be great, as they're quite simple. I will be posting about my leavers ball, but it'll either be nearer the time or afterwards.

I'd been wanting this draped blouses from Topshop for ages, £36, but it's been out of stock everywhere and online. I went into the Ipswich store, and saw this on the last chance to buy section. I was so happy! The material is so lovely and textured. This type of blouse you can dress up or down, which is great! It's lovely and floaty.

As I'm going to have a few interviews coming up, I thought this blazer would be perfect to make myself look smart and presentable. It was £49 from Topshop. I blazer can be worn with most things, to dress them up. The slim fit of this blazer is lovely. The material is great, it doesn't crease. This can be also worn to parties and when going out.

This little blouse is so cute! It was from Topshop, £34 (excuse the creases). It's a peachy colour, the collar is so pretty, the way it's layered adds detail to any outfit. I love the bib detail of these blouse, it's a bit see-through but worn with a nude bra would look fine. What I love about this blouse is that it can be dressed up or down, worn with jeans or skirts.

This little ribbed crop top was only £16 from Topshop. As I don't really like much of my belly showing with crop tops I always tend to go for the next size up so that it's a little longer. This top is so cute, and will be great in the summer to just throw on. I love layering up clothes, and this is perfect! It's just the perfect length, as I have quite a short body anyway.

In the summer there's nothing better than a oversized shirt. This shirt was £29 from Topshop, I'm not sure if this is meant to be oversized but I got a size 12 so that it is for me. It's 100% cotton, so it's lovely and thin to wear in the summer. I plan to wear this tucked in with denim shorts or just with jeans. It has got a bit of a fitted shape, so it doesn't look silly if it's worn oversized.

I managed to pick up this vintage style underwear set from Topshop in the sale. Now I love a bargain, the bra was £9 and the knickers were £4. The colour of this set is stunning, and the fit is beautiful. The lace on the knickers and bra make the set look delicate, along with the silk straps and knickers.

This pair of sandals were my last buy of the day. As I don't own a pair of sandals I just couldn't say no. They were £28 from Topshop. They're got a little heel which makes them really comfortable to wear, as I find flat sandals hurt my feet after a while of wearing them. These have a snake skin effect, but it's very subtle with a little gold buckle. I was torn between these and a tan pair, but I thought black goes with everything and can be dressed up.
