Recent bargains!

Hello everyone, I'm back!
Ever since I bought a lil'kitten, she has taken over my life & I've completely forgotten to post any of my reviews or hauls. Although it's probably too late to post the majority of my hauls.. I'll review all the products I've bought.
Anyway, enough babbling.. I'm sharing all my recent bargains that I've picked up from T-K-Maxx, which is slowly becoming my favourite place to shop!

Firstly I picked up these two Too Faced products for under £20!

I was so happy when I saw a bunch of Too Faced products, so I couldn't leave empty handed could I?
I wasn't quite sure what shade foundation I was, as I've never bought Too Faced makeup before but I actually managed to guess really well.

I picked up this Amazing Face Oil-Free liquid foundation for £7.99! The original price of this product is £23 so I was pleased! I got the colour Honey Beige which is actually quite a warm shade, but it's perfect for my summer tanned skin & I don't mind paying that price for a summer foundation! The coverage is just fab, it smooths on beautifully & makes the skin look flawless, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be that great, but I'm amazed! The only fault I have with this product is that it's got no pump, so I find there is some wastage when I use this foundation. So I've gotten a little tub which I put the left overs & I just use this to touch up during the day.

I also managed to pick up this Absolutely Invisible translucent pressed powder for £9.99. This product is not available anymore, because it's been replaced with Candlelight pressed powder £21. I'm not completely sure whether it was just a redesign of the product or they've changed the formula.. But this powder is a life saver! It doesn't effect the colour of the foundation at all, it just sets it nicely and leaves the face looking gorgeous and matte. There's no shiny, oily skin when wearing this product.

One thing I love about T-K-Maxx is that you can pick up cheap designer items, I managed to pick up these Calvin Klein Court Heels for £34! Normally Calvin Klein shoes are over £100, but as these are no longer available I can't find out how much I saved. A girl can never have too many shoes, plus these classic black heels will never date.

These aren't too high as well, so they're so comfortable to wear. and the patent finish is just beautiful. I'm a lover of patent court heels. If only I could own them all!

My last purchase was this beautiful Paul Costelloe bag, which I picked up for £69.99 instead of its original price of £260! As you can imagine.. I was pretty delighted. The lighting in this picture is terrible, but it's a stone colour & is absolutely beautiful. Such a smart, classic bag, suitable for all occasions.

What are your best bargains?

What's in my handbag?

So, a lot of people do this post & it's always nice to look what everyone has in their handbag. Unfortunately, mine isn't very exciting but I thought I'd share with you guys anyway. I recently bought a new bag, see where in my last post here, so I transferred everything from my old one.

First of all, my purse (obviously).. I'm absolutely in love with my purse, it's from Ted Baker, you can read about all my Ted Baker purchases here. It has enough room for notes, coins and up to 12 cards, so it's a perfect size. It's got a beautiful gold metal and black leather bow detail on the front to show the Ted Baker mark.

Ok, I don't carry around an Elle magazine every time I use my handbag, but this just happens to be in there as it's what I read when I'm at work before I start my shift. I get this magazine every month, it's just so nice to relax and read about the latest fashion trends and new beauty products to try out. I've only recently started buying this magazine religiously this year but I will definitely continue to do so.

I always carry around my mini bottle of Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent for little freshen-ups throughout the day. It comes in this cute little case and the fragrance is to die for! Read about my favourite scents here.

I also always carry a scrunchy and a hair clip, just in case my hair gets annoying during the day. This is so I can just tie it back or just clip the front of my hair back to keep it out of my face.

My trustworthy Hervana blusher from Benefit, is a must. I have two, one to keep on me at all times and the other stays at home in my makeup bag. I like to touch up my blusher during the day, just to keep my cheeks rosy, and this blusher is perfect for that as it has a little compact brush in the box so it's easy to do so. I also carry around a pack of tissues for those 'just in case' moments. I also always have a lip balm on me, at the moment I have the Malin + Goetz lip moisturiser, as my lips always get dry during the day.

& of course I always have my phone in my bag, but as I take the photographs with my phone, it make it impossible to take a picture of it.
So, that's what I have in my handbag, what are your essentials?

A little shopping trip

While I'm outside, enjoying the sunshine & a glass of pimm's, I thought I'd share my recent purchases with you. I decided to go into town to buy one beauty product, but I always end up buying more than I can actually afford.

I saw this bag in Warehouse in Debenhams, the original price was £36, but as there was 20% off everything I got it for even cheaper, but when I went to the checkout to pay, it came up as £21.60 which was a bargain! I had seen this bag a few weeks bag and I feel in love with it then, but I decided not to buy it, but today I just couldn't resist! I normally only go for leather bags, but this bag is so soft and it looks as though it is leather. It's a lot lighter in real life than it is in the picture but I thought this is a lovely bag for the summer.

I've been eyeing up this touché clat blur perfector from Yves Saint Laurent for ages! What first got my attention was the beautiful packaging, I mean just look at it.. But then I actually tested the product on my skin & blimey, what a difference it makes. It makes the skin feel so smooth, and stops foundation from separating throughout the day. This product can be used as a touch up throughout the day or even a replacement from foundation. It comes with a application sponge and a velvet sleeve to keep it in. This product is now also available in with a sun kissed tint. This product was £31.50, but was worth every penny. There are a range of products by YSL that I want to try including the touché Ã©clat and the touché clat blur primer. All their product make your skin feel so good, it's effortless.

You know when you can't decide
on which colour to buy, so you buy both? Yeah, me too & that's exactly what happened with these Revolution blush palettes. I got the colours Golden Sugar (left) & Hot Spice (right). I don't normally buy drugstore makeup but these palettes were just so pretty I just had to buy them. They were only £6 each! So, I can't really expect big things from them but for that price I don't mind at all! The Golden Sugar palette is more of a highlighting blush palettes which contain fewer matte colours and more shimmery colours, whereas the Hot Spice palette is a more pigmented blush palette with more matte colours and fewer shimmery colours. I'm not sure how good these palettes will be but from swatches I did in the store they seem pretty decent for their value so I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

I convinced myself I needed a new powder brush, as I use the same brush for my powder as I do my blush. So obviously, I bought the Real Techniques Bold Metals arched powder brush, to continue with my collection. These brushes really do not disappoint, their bristles are so soft and the design is so beautiful it makes you not want to use and make the brush dirty. This brush is the most expensive of the collection at £25 but it's really worth the money and looks so expensive.

So, that's all I bought on my little shopping trip and spent money on when I really should be saving. Hope you've enjoyed reading
